Translating cancer immunology into novel therapies against aggressive brain tumors.
Strickland Brain Tumor Immunology Lab
Our laboratory translates basic cancer immunology into novel therapies against aggressive meningioma and glioblastoma. We investigate the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, explore differential epigenetic expression patterns in meningioma, and engineer targeted immunotherapies for tumors not amenable to surgical interventions. Through single-cell analysis, spatial transcriptomics, and focused ultrasound technologies, we aim to develop precise treatments that improve outcomes for patients with central nervous system tumors.
